Modderkolk on working with BarTrack

"At Modderkolk, we are an electrical engineering company that manufactures control cabinets and distribution boxes for customers in our panel construction department. We work with a huge variety of items and components. That's precisely why we were looking for more insight into our stock usage: which materials do we use a lot, and what remains as dead stock?

BarTrack has given us that insight. All locations are equipped with recognizable stickers and the history has been uploaded to the BarTrack platform. The dashboard allows us to see exactly what our current stock is and which items we actually have lying around unnecessarily. This enables us to make better adjustments and work towards a reliable and up-to-date stock.

At the moment, BarTrack replenishes our shelves on behalf of Technische Unie, but our ambition is to gain more and more control ourselves. The ideal situation would be that when an item runs out, we can scan it immediately, order it today, and have it delivered tomorrow. That would be the optimal situation for us."
