In this update, we have fixed several minor bugs and made some visual improvements. We are also introducing a completely new functionality that will make your ordering process even easier: linking barcodes to products.
This new feature allows you to link a barcode to a specific product in your stock. Simply stick a barcode sticker (can be any barcode) on a stock location, such as a bin in a rack or in your delivery van, and link this barcode to the right product via the app.
Here's how it works:
1. Find the item in the app and open the item detail page.
2. Click on the new link icon at the top of the page.
3. Scan the barcode at the stock location and it will automatically be linked to the item.From now on, you only need to scan this linked barcode with the BarTrack app and the item will be added directly to your order list. Ordering has never been easier!

Stock Management

Internet connection: The app now clearly shows when there is no with the Internet. You can take orders as usual when there is no internet connection. Once there is connection again, the orders will still be sent automatically.
Include reference with order: A reference can now be included with an order (think of a project number or other additional information. NOTE This is a separate setting for wholesale).
From now on you can also search by item number: We are doing everything we can to make ordering and managing inventory as easy as possible. In this version we have fixed some minor bug fixes.

Scanning speed is greatly improved.
We have put a lot of time into improving the speed at which the information of the scanned article is displayed. This now happens as much as 8x faster than before. In practice, it means that the article information is now available by return.

In this version, it becomes possible to present the same article in multiple languages! The language presented depends on the language setting you have selected.
Under a (unique) item number, a product description can be included in multiple languages (EN, DE, FR, NL). The app users will automatically see the description in the language in which the app is set up. This is especially a great update for wholesalers in multilingual countries or for those who operate in multiple language areas.

NEW! Managing inventory was already possible within the web version of BarTrack. At the request of many of our order takers, this functionality is now also available in the App.
You create your own stock locations and add items to them. Ordering is then child's play. Select the item from the list or simply scan the barcode. The item is then ordered from the wholesaler of your choice. With the BarTrack app, all item information is now available on your mobile. From detailed product information to images of the article.
Sound complicated? Then meet Barry Track, our virtual assistant in the App. After answering a few questions, he'll know what your inventory situation is and send you a welcome packet. With this, you can get started right away.
